ORACLE CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE FOR MULTI-CLOUD INTEGRATION

INSURANCE

Use Case: Data Warehouse on Azure

For customer running their platform from multiple cloud providers, connecting these platforms is best delivered via what is known by “fast connect”. It’s a high-speed network connectivity between to cloud regions. Having fast connect setup is the first step for achieving running and communicating between platforms running on different cloud provider regions.

As depicted on the reference architecture, it’s Oracle Cloud infrastructure where Oracle Database with Active Data Guard is running. Oracle GoldenGate is capturing from either database and transmitting trails to converge database, and kept synchronized with the primary and active databases.

Oracle GoldenGate for big data capture data from the converged database and via OCN managed network it sends the trails to Azure File Writer, which in turn BLOB handler to feed the Azure data lake.
