LARGE LANGUAGE MODELS (LLMs) for Data & AI APPLICATIONS

Integration of OpenAI LLMs with NodeJS Applications...

Process Automation is an essential feature for certain business processes. Where a globally designed ERP must support multiple languages (Locales). Because of products catalog forms the basis of Retails application where the products are created and updated as required. When the catalog composed of thousands of products, entering the product description and translation them on all Locales are time consuming and errors prone.

Hence the integration of OpenAI LLM with NodeJS REST API can deliver highly accurate result for creating global products catalog. The process requires a basic CSV file that has one column only, the product short title. Using OpenAI REST API within NodeJS creates the metadata of the products on all Locales, that includes product’s description and images.

ZERO DOWNTIME UPGRADE & MIGRATION

Migrating Databases from on-premise to any Cloud, with zero downtime...

Mission critical Enterprise database upgrade and migration must continue to operate during database upgrade and migration, where during the upgrade and migration users continue to create business transactions without being impacted by the process of moving data and applications from existing system to new system running in the cloud.

Using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure GoldenGate as the platform and Oracle Database Recovery Manager (RMAN) the upgrade Infrastructure is developed. Using an online RMAN method to initiates the interim and target databases. During entire process OCI GG is working on the background moving data from the production to Cloud.

Data verify tools are used to confirm data consistency prior to switch over.

ENTERPRISE DATA WAREHOUSE FOR BUSINESS ANALYTICS

Running BI applications from in-memory data for real-time experience…

An Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) is the corporate central repository that consolidates years of data from across the entire organization into one database, mostly resides in an Oracle Database configured for Data warehouse or NoSQL repository such as Google Bigtable, Apache Cassandra or MongoDB.

My Data Warehouse advanced experience is around integrating data from multiple disparate sources like ERP, CRM, and legacy systems into a single, unified operational view using Oracle GoldenGate. Where I will have the capacity to perform data cleansing, transformation, mapping to come up with the best operational data warehouse repository.

Lately the focus has been on the design of data warehouse to enable Business Analytics for:

  • In-Memory Data for real-time business analytics
  • Streaming to Data Warehouse using RESTAPI for Data Mesh

DEVOPS FOR CONTINUOUS INTEGRATION AND CONTINUOUS DEPLOYMENT

DevOps for CI/CD, Github commits, automated testing & deployments...

Software development life-cycle is phased process. Some of which are time consuming. DevOps (Development and Operations) aim to deliver higher quality software faster, safer and adhere to developed standards. DevOps is an end-to-end automation process for Software development, one the code is committed, the automation takes over the process and the complete life-cycle is what known as CI/CD – Continuous Development and Continuous Delivery (Deployment).

Depending on the tool I’m developing I select the programming language. For desktop applications, I was programming in Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Object for OLE. For Web applications, I use the software stack MEAN, MERN and MEEN, these stands for:

  • MEAN: MongoDB, Express, Angular and NodeJS
  • MERN: MongoDB, Express, React and NodeJS
  • MEEN: MongoDB, Express, Embedded JS (EJS) and NodeJS

Indeed, as much as I enjoy writing software code (being a programmer) , it’s the same for writing book and articles (being an author). The reason it’s one way of sharing my knowledge with the user’s community around the world. I always spend my spare time writing something. When I’m in flight I write, When I’m in the hotel lobby I write, eventfully it became like I my hoppy without realizing it’s part of my job.

Being an Oracle trainer for years, I’ve developed internal and external workshops materials. Some of which for sales opportunities and some for business development for internal sales reps and presales.
